I totally get it. I used to make Teen Wolf icons. Terrible lighting. I also iconned a Garrett Hedlund movie once where the only light for most scenes was one bare light bulb over their heads, which gave me icons akin to what you have here. I get directors and shows that need their moody aesthetic. That's great, but I need to make icons, damn it. SO yeah.
